How To Clean Pet Vomit From Carpet

Those who have pets, of course, to ask how to clean up vomit from the carpet. Domestic dogs and cats, of course vomit at least once, if not more. Then answer the sickening task of cleaning. But here we show down a simple solution to restore the state of your carpet.
Most importantly, immediately contact area after the animal breaks to avoid vomiting to soak further into carpet padding. In addition, pet foods often contain food dyes that can cause stains, if vomiting is to dry. Staining is also dependent on the type of your carpet. Factory stained carpets (less expensive carpets) are more susceptible to staining from corrosive discharge compared to other carpet stains with color impregnated into its fibers.

Remove vomit from the carpet as much as possible, using some of the old carpet / paper towel or any other scraper. Try not to squeeze it on the carpet. If vomiting is dry it can be removed by wetting the carpet and then use any old cloth to clean it.

Dab wet area with a lot of paper towels to absorb as much moisture as possible.

Then apply some baking soda on the spot to absorb moisture and to kill the smell. Then just vacuum the baking soda.

Or do the cleaning solution by mixing a mild detergent in warm water or get your hands on any carpet cleaning, such as spots and blow gently scrub the area clean by dipping a sponge in the cleaning solution or just dab the area.

Gently wipe the area and work to remove the stain. Once the stain is gone, rinse the sponge and dab the area to remove the cleaning solution from the carpet. Again, rinse the sponge and dab the area until all the cleaning solution has been removed from the carpet. Repeat this step as necessary.

Now dab the area using a clean paper towel to absorb as much water as possible from the carpet. You can also put a stack of paper towels with a weight on top. Continuing to remove paper towels one at a time, until it starts to go dry.

Turn on fans to dry the area completely.

Finally, vacuum to restore the texture of the carpet.

Most importantly, do not check your pet for signs of illness that requires medical attention and if it was a regular vomiting animal, then you know how to clean up vomit from the carpet!
